High Performance and Cloud Computing Center @ UQ

The University of Qom has invested in its computational infrastructure and launched powerful servers. The university's High-Performance Computing (HPC) center is now ready to serve users with the following capacities:

CPU-based Processing: 422 GHz available as a service (CPU as a Service)

GPU-based Processing: 334 TFLOPS available as a service (GPU as a Service)

This equipment includes one next-generation G10 server and two NVIDIA A40 graphics processors, enabling users to carry out heavy scientific and research computations.

To use the cloud system, users can access it via cloud.qom.ac.ir. This system allows the management of computing machines through a web browser. For ease of access, the university's cloud computing center has provided three main methods for connecting to computing machines:

Web Connection: Direct access through the cloud computing system portal

Remote Desktop Connection: Suitable for machines with Windows operating systems

SSH Connection: Suitable for machines with Linux operating systems, using software such as Putty and WinSCP.
