Numerical simulation of turbulent and hypersonic flows using open-source and commercial codes

 

Investigation of aeroelasticity phenomena and fluid-structure interaction

 

Analysis and optimization of nozzles and air intakes for advanced propulsion systems (Aerodynamics and Subsonic Wind Tunnel Laboratory, CFD and Turbulence Research Lab.)

2. Aerospace Structures and Smart Materials

Six-degree-of-freedom (6DOF) modeling and simulation of satellites, along with Attitude Determination and Control (ADCS)

 

4. Space Science and Satellite Technology

Conceptual and systems design of CubeSats and micro-class satellites

 

Mission analysis and spacecraft orbit design

 

Satellite power, thermal, and telecommunication subsystems ..and can earn national recognition in CubeSat design competitions.

 

Curriculum: From Specialized Education to Pure Research

Master's of Science Degree (M.Sc.): This program consists of advanced coursework across various aerospace engineering disciplines, culminating in a thesis grounded in solving a real-world problem. The objective is to prepare students for a strong entry into research and development centers or to continue their academic journey at the doctoral level.

 

Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.): This stage is a journey toward creating a lasting scientific contribution. After passing the comprehensive examination and drafting the dissertation proposal, the doctoral student dedicates the major portion of their studies to developing a new theory, presenting an innovative algorithm, or discovering an unpublished phenomenon, the result of which will be publications in top-tier international journals.
